Charles Richardson is pleased to introduce a range of replica 18th century, antique Walnut furniture. Designed to fill the gap between expensive antiques and pseudo reproductions. Each piece is bleached and hand polished to achieve an aged patina. Hand dovetailed English Oak drawer sides and panelled backs to cabinets are standard. Edge mouldings are cross grained solid Walnut, which in time open slightly to enhance the aged appearance, at this stage an application of soft dark wax will give the correct antique finish. Should this authentic look not be required, straight grain mouldings are available on request.
